摘要 首先概要介绍了光子晶体光纤的发展进程、导光机理和分类。然后讨论了其三个突出的优点:单模传输特性、高非线性效应和可控群速度色散特性。最后探讨了它在光通信中的应用前景:产生超短脉冲、光参量放大和超连续谱的产生。 The paper summarizs the progress, guidance mechanism and classification of photonic crystal fiber (PCF). Then it discusses its three prominent merits: the property of single mode, high nonlinearity and controllable group velocity dispersion. The prospective application in the generation of ultra-short pulse, optical parametric amplifier and supercontinuum generation are also presented respectively.
