摘要
本文研究了双圆筒型4πβG-M计数管的一些性能及其探测效率。从计数管的坪曲线、稳定性等一些性能来看,所研究的4π计数管可以用做一般精确度的β放射性强度的绝对测量。做了计数管结构的几何条件、样品(放射性物质及其承托物)的位置等因素对探测效率的影响的实验。估计了由于“假计数”、“死时间”漏计数校正引入的误差。最后给出计数管对于射出样品的β粒子的探测效率接近100%,误差小于±1%。
The paper researches some performance and detection efficiency of di-cylindrical 4πβ G-M connt- er. Inview of plateau and stability, 4π counter being studied may be used as absolute measurement of β radioactivity with general precision. The experiments were carried out of the effect of geometry condition of counter structure, location of sample, etc. on detection efficieny. The errors resulted from the correction to "false count" and "dead time" were estimated. Finally, β detection efficiency of the counter is given with error less than ±1%.
