Design and Implementation of Thrice Reflecting Laser Focus System

摘要 基于激光推进推力矢量控制,提出、设计并加工了一种三次反射激光聚焦系统。指出了一次反射尖锥面、二次反射环锥面和三次反射高次曲线环面的设计方法,说明了聚焦系统的加工工艺和安装调试过程,并进行了聚焦特性的测量实验。结果表明,脉冲CO2激光功率密度经三次反射激光聚焦系统达到空气击穿阈值,实验中观察到等离子体发光现象。不同设计条件下聚焦形状不同,其聚焦相对位置在一定范围内可调节。 Based on laser propulsion thrust vector control, a thrice reflecting focus system is put forward, designed and fabricated. The design methods of first reflecting tine taper surface, second reflecting loop taper surface and third reflecting high-order cubed curve ring surface are presented. The processing technique and fixing process of the focus system are explained. Testing experiments about focus characteristic are done. The results show: pulse power density from CO2 laser reaches air breakdown threshold through thrice reflecting focus system, and plasma radiation phenomena is observed in the experiment. According to different focus shapes under different design conditions, the relative focus position can be adjusted in a certain range.
