The application of glass to the modem buildings as their curtain wall and fire rated glass partition wall was analyzed. The performances of laminated glass, toughened glass, fire rated glass and composite glass were introduced. The method of selecting glass partition wall for the area protected by gas fire extinguishing system was discussed.
