摘要
2006年2月初浙江文成发生了ML4.6级震群活动,应用地震波方法及常规的活动性方法,分别于小震活动开始的次日和最大地震发生当日快速做出了正确的预测,为政府的决策提供了科学依据。回顾了预测过程和理由,并对这次震群发生的原因作了探讨。
On Feb.9, 2006, an earthquake swarm with ML4.6 occurred in Wencheng, Zhejiang province. We forecasted it correctly and rapidly in the next day of the beginning of the small earthquake activity and the day of the maximum earthquake occurring by using the methods about seismic wave and routine seismicity and provided scientific basis for correct decision-making of the govemment. The forecasting course and reason are reviewed and the cause of the earthquake swarm is discussed in this paper.
