《论友谊》是《培根论说文集》篇章之一,详尽讨论了友谊的主要功效。本文拟以系统功能语法理论为基础,从及物性、语气和情态、主位结构和衔接等方面对《论友谊》进行功能文体分析。
Of Friendship is one of Bacon＇s Essays, which focuses on the fruits of friendship. Based on the Systemic-Functional Grammar, the paper analyzes the stylistic features of this essay in terms of transitivity, mood and modality, and thematic structure and cohesion.
