摘要
“落英”词义之争是楚辞史上的一大公案,文章运用现代语言学的理论和清代乾嘉朴学的方法,比较和分析了各家之说,并以大量的文献材料为依据,证明“落”训“陨落”是正确的。在此基础上,提出新解:“落英”当作“欲落之英”解,是“欲落之英”的省文。
The dispute about the meaning of ＂luoying＂ is an important case of the research on the ＂Songs of Chu＂. Based on abundant literature, this article compares and analyses a great variety of different comments and opinions by the contemporary theory of linguistics by the method, of ＂Qianjia puxue.＂ Sequentially, interpretation of ＂luo＂ as ＂fall＂ is proved correct. The article holds that ＂luoying＂ should be interpreted as ＂the flower which is tumbledown.＂
