关于石棉类矿物的若干问题

SOME PROBLEMS CONCERNING ASBESTOS-LIKE MINERALS

本文纠正了对石棉定义的某些不准确提法，认为不能以是否属硅酸盐矿物纤维来划分是否属于石棉。石棉矿产在应用中最基本的共性是其纤维增强功能。针对近年来的“石棉恐惧论”论述了可以安全与合理的使用石棉的观点，并认为石棉的安全利用应与其他非石棉类人造纤维同等对待，公平竞争。

A few inaccurate proposals which define asbestos are rectified in this paper. The paper sug-gests that the definition which thinks whether certain mineral belongs to asbestos depends on whether itbelongs to silicate mineral is inappropriate. The essential feature of asbestos in the practical application is thefibre-reinforced function. In view of 'illness of fearing asbestos' in recent years, the paper expounds theviewpoit which thinks that asbestos can be used safely and reasonably, and suggests that asbestos should betreated equally with other non-asbestos man made fibres.
