明末大臣杨嗣昌,与同时代文人袁中道、钟惺、谭元春等均有交游唱和。其诗文作品内容广泛,以山水纪游之作成就为最高。其文学主张和作品风格接近于公安、竟陵派,但有自己的创作个性,这种个性与他终身勉力从政的人生道路相一致。

Yang Si - chang was the major minister of the Late Ming dynasty. He was erudite and had written a lot. He had wide connections with many famous writers, such as Yuan Zhong - dao, Zhong Xing and Tan Yuan - chun, etc. Yang Si - chang＇ s writings were collected in the Writings of Yang Wen - ruo, and there are 4 volumes of pomes and essays in this book which has 57 volumes. The content of Yang Si - chang＇ s pomes and essays were abundant, Landscape and travel notes come first. Yang Si - chang＇ s works was of the style of Gongan and Jingling, but his features was accordant with his political views as an official.
