意识流小说的文体特点及其“形式”的传译

意识流小说充满了各种形式变异。本文以爱尔兰著名作家詹姆斯乔伊斯的著作《尤利西斯》(U-lysses)的中译本为范本,从剖析意识流小说的形式变异入手,指出译者在翻译过程中要充分考虑意识流的语体特点,保留其形式,实施一种以变异应对变异的翻译策略和方法。

Stream consciousness fiction is full of formal deviations. This paper, through careful analyses of these formal deviations and detailed comparison between two Chinese versions of Ulysses, shows that if the original is linguistically or stylistically innovatory, its form is as important as its content, and the text translated should stick closely to the linguistic and stylistic features of the original.
