摘要
SQL Server是微软公司出品的主打数据库产品，SQL Server2000则是该数据库的最新版本；XML出现不过几年，而现在已流行于整个计算机界，它的数据跨平台性是它最大的特点，本文将谈谈在SQL Server2000当中对XML文档的支持特性。
The SQL Server is the leading database product that Microsoft Corporation produces and SQL Server2000 is the latest edition of this product. In computer science field, the Extensible Markup Language （XML） is more and more popular and platform independence is its greatest characteristic. This paper primarily introduces the new features which support XML in SQL Server2000.
