At first, the E-mail system of Liaoning Meteorological Bureau is introduced simply. Secondly, it is brought up a problem that a Notes certificate is out-of-date during using the system on the side of the security.of E-mail system. At last, several ways is given to deal with expired Notes certificates that aimed at different cases. The similarities and dissimilarities of the ways are analyzed with emphasis to deal with expiration of Notes certificates, and an idea is given to adopt which ways under different cases.
