The construction of the next generation Internet based on IPv6 already becomes the focus that people have paid close attention to. This paper briefly analyzed the technique feature of IPv6, introduced the IPv6 development present condition in our country, from various angles and dimensions, such as system and mechanism, historY and reality...etc, analyzed in depth and elaborated how to take IPv6 as a chance to arouse the overall development of the industry.
