A Preliminary Study of the CPC's Leadership in the Work for Woman during the Period of Democratic Revolution

本文系统考察了1949年前中共领导的全国性妇女组织的机构沿革,概括论述了自中共二大至全国妇联成立20余年间中共制定的妇女政策,客观评价了中共在民主革命时期领导妇女运动的主要成就,同时分析了这一时期中共妇女工作的特点和存在的不足。

This article makes a systematic investigation of the institutional evolution of national women＇s organizations under the leadership of the CPC before 1949, analyzes the main documents and policies about women adopted by the CPC during the 20 plus years from the Second National Congress of CPC to the time when All-China Women＇s Federation was set up, objectively appraises women＇s movement led by the CPC and its achievements in the period of democratic revolution, and discusses the characteristics and drawbacks of the CPC＇s work for women in the early years.
