Virtual Reality Technology and Its Application in Industrial Design

在阐明工业设计(ID)和计算机辅助工业设计(CAID)概念的基础上,着重论述了虚拟现实技术的概念、理论、实现虚拟现实的方法和虚拟产品设计的过程,指出将虚拟现实技术应用于工业设计中,将加快产品开发的进程,使设计者、消费者融为一体设计出满足市场需要的产品。

Based on expounding idea of industrial design （ID） and computer aided industrial design （CAID） ,concept and theory about virtual reality technology, mothed of achieving virtual reality and process designing virtual product are emphatically discussed .It points out that if virtual reality technology is used in the industrial design, the process of product development will be speeded up, so that designers and consumers together design demanded products to meeting with the markets.
