摘要 培养学生高层次数学能力是国际数学教育界共同关注的问题.培养高层次数学能力,不可忽视传统的课堂书面笔试的实施.在数学评定中,运用传统的课堂书面笔试和较新型的多元评定方法评定学生高层次数学能力是十分必要的、可行的方法。 This article presented the author's view about basic concepts and features of test and assessment in mathematics. It discussed the advantages and disadvantages of using traditional paper-and-pencil test in assessing students' learning in mathematics, particularly their higher-order mathematical abilities. Drawing on his working and research experience with more than 30 classrooms in Singapore educational settings in the area of mathematics assessment and alternative assessment, the author also offered suggestions on how to use traditional paper-and-pencil test and relatively new alternative assessment approaches to assess students' higher-order mathematical abilities.
