Magnetorheological Fluids （MRF） is a class of new intelligent material whose theological characteristics change rapidly in the presence of an applied magnetic field . And the transformation is controllable , continual and reversible , which shows immense potential . In this paper , the principle of MRF is recapitulated entirely . And the development prospects of MR.F is discussed . Especially , application of MRF in the semi-active suspension system of vehicle was summarized entirely .
