Li Shangyin has taken the description of the image of Chang＇ er in poems of previous generations and developed it into a image group of Chang＇ er and endowed them with rich and multiple connotations. In his poems, Chang＇ er is a plaintive and amorous woman of Taoisrn as well as a secluded, lonely noble fairy on the moon, which expresses the great aspiration of the author who are upright and unwilling to yield to the customs.
