摘要
小波变换具有良好空间-频率局部化特性,使小波变换后图像的能量大部分聚集到了低频子图像,利用原始图像在小波分解中不同分辨率级能量分布不均匀的特点,提出了改进的嵌入式小波零树编码算法-保持低频数据无损压缩编码的嵌入式小波零树编码。理论分析和实践表明,该方法能够降低重构图像的均方误差(MSE)、提高重构图像的峰值信噪比(PSNR)。
The wavelet transform has the good space - frequnecy local characteristic, the energy of image is strongly concentrated in low frequency subimage when the image is processed by wavelets. This paper utilites the property of the asymmetrical energy distribution on different muhiresolution levels. The paper expounds an improved embedded wavelet zerotree coding algorithmemhedded wavelet zerotree coding algorithm which is a lossless coding keeping low frequency data. Theoretical analysis and experiment resuits demonstrate this method can reduce MSE and improve PSNR of the reconstructed image.
