庄子所追求的自由境界,淡化了老子“道”的本体意义,把“道”内化为一种心灵的自由境界,从“心”的角度来诠释道,彰显出生命的自由本性,其目的就是摆脱一切主观与客观的限制和束缚,实现真正的精神自由,寻求心灵自由的栖居之所在。

The spiritual state of free mind sought by Zhuang Zi weakens the original sense of the doctrines of Lao Zi, and internalizes the doctrines as the free state of the spirit. Zhuang Zi explains the doctrines from the perspective of the spirit to highlight the nature of freedom which aims at rescuing man from the restrictions from both the subjective and objective, realizing the real freedom of spirit and seeking for the dwelling place for it.
