摘要
通过对我国重点矿业院校非英语专业大学生英语词汇量与语言各项技能水平的相关研究,发现学生四级阶段词汇量平均达到4192个;词汇量与口语、听力、阅读理解、词汇结构、完型填空、写作及四级成绩之间在а=0.01水平下线性关系均显著;不同语言综合能力的学习者,其词汇量状况存在显著差异;不同词汇量的学习者,其语言综合能力也存在显著差异。
The paper reports a study of the correlation between English vocabulary, different language skills and comprehensive language proficiency of non-English majors of key mining universities in China. The results of the study indicate that the vocabulary of the students at CET-4 level has reached 4192; it also shows significant correlation between their vocabulary, spoken English, listening, reading comprehension, vocabulary and structure, cloze, writing and CET-4 which represents their comprehensive language proficiency. Learners with different comprehensive language proficiencies have significant difference in their vocabulary; learners with different vocabulary also have significant difference in their comprehensive language proficiency.
