Tourism will act as a new economic growth point of the revitalization of Liaoning old industrial base as well as the window of opening to the outside world and a leading industry of Liaoning province. The development of tourism will be helpful to raise people＇s living standard and consumption quality and to create more job opportunities in Liaoning. To develop tourism complies with the requirements of promoting resource-saving and environment-friendly economic development and with the re quirements of scientific outlook on development. Liaoning province enjoys certain resource advantages to develop tourism. We should fully realize the function of tourism in the economic and social development in Liaoning and formulate strategies to promote it.
