Commercial Operation Experience of P-RC APMP at Yueyang Paper Mill

摘要 介绍了岳阳纸业公司盘磨机化学预处理碱性过氧化氢机械浆P-RC APMP生产线的运行经验。 This paper presents the results from commercial operation of P-RC APMP system at Yueyang Paper mill of Tiger Forest and Paper Group, one of the top 10 largest paper companies in China. The system was supplied by Andritz with designed capacity of 300 t/d of high yield (chemical mechanical) pulp, and started up in September 2003. It was initially designed for LWC paper applications, and later has been producing pulps for various paper grades, ranging form newsprint to priming/writing grades. The mill uses fast-growing Italian poplar and its blends with various other local softwood and hardwood species as raw materials. The results showed that pulp properties from the mill system are in line with the designed targets and consistent with the results from pilot trial at Andritz pilot plant at Springfield, Ohio, USA, for the project. The energy and chemical consumptions are also in line or better than the designed targets.
