辛亥革命与淮海地区现代化刍议

A Study on the Relationship between the 1911 Revolution and the Modernization Process in Huaihai Region

淮海地区现代化起步早,但发展缓慢。辛亥革命前,淮海地区的现代化趋向仅具端倪。辛亥革命加速了该地区现代化的进程,辛亥革命后淮海地区现代化进程进入一个全面、快速发展阶段,现代化成为社会发展的主导趋势,但总体水平不高。人文历史环境、政局、区位等因素是影响淮海地区现代化进程的主要因素。

The modernization process in Huaihai region is slow though it starts early. This phenomenon appears even before the 1911 Revolution. The Revolution has enhanced the modernization process in the region, resulting in the overall and rapid development in this region. The proceeding of modernization has become the main trend but the overall quality of modernization is not high. The major factors influencing this process are cultural human environment, the state of bureaucracy, region and so on.
