Liu Bocheng's Great Contribution to the Mental and Political Direction of Our Army During the Resistant War Against Japan

在抗日战争时期,刘伯承非常重视我军的思想政治工作。他关心政治工作建设,他反对单纯的军事观点,总是从政治角度去思考军事问题。他善于做思想政治工作,在部队中进行党的思想路线、方针和政策的教育。他提出了打胜仗的战术要靠不断的政治工作的观点,并从政治的角度提出了战胜敌人的三个条件。

Liu Bocheng attached great importance to the mental and political direction of our army during the Resistant War Against Japan. He was concerned about the construction of spirit and opposed onefold military viewpoint. Moreover, he always speculated the military problems from the political angel. While good at steering the mental and political direction, and at giving the lectures of the mental courses and policies of the CCP in army, he advanced a standpoint that tactics of getting victory depended on ceaseless political direction, and three conditions of defeating enemy from political angel as well.
