从通州女子师范看张謇的女子教育观

On Zhang Jian's View on Education of Women——A case study of Tongzhou Women's Teacher's College

张謇生逢中国社会的急遽转型时期,他的个人经历及思想观念在某种程度上代表着那个时代的社会及思想变迁。人们对张謇的关注一般多集中在其政治、实业领域的作为。本文试图通过张謇在创办通州女子师范学校过程中的言行,考察他对中国女子教育的一般认识,进而从一个侧面加深对张謇的了解。

Zhang Jian lived in a period of sharp changes of society in China. His personal experience and thoughts stood for the changes of the whole society and thoughts and ideas of that era in some aspects. Generally speaking, people understood him from aspects of political and industrial fields. This paper has investigated Zhang Jian＇s understandings to Chinese female education by his words and actions in setting up Tong Zhou Female Normal School so as to make us know more about Zhang Jian＇s contribution to the female education in China.
