摘要
《新时代汉英大词典》是我国近年出版的一部大型汉英翻译工具书。本文尝试通过一些典型的例子从收词的广泛性、释义的准确性、释义的适用性以及体例的规范性等四个方面对该词典的优点以及某些不足之处进行评介。
The Chinese-English Dictionary of New Age is a large-scale Chinese-English translation reference book published recently in China. This paper attempts to use a number of examples to review the strong and weak points of this dictionary. Covered are its large variety of entries, accurate translation, applicability, and the format consistency of the entries.
