进行了杨木爆破浆配抄新闻纸的研究，杨木爆破浆取代马尾松化学浆配抄新闻纸后除撕裂度略有下降外，裂断长、拉毛速度、印刷密度。

Laboratory results show that the Masson's pine sulfite pulp and groundwood could be replaced by aspen explosion pulp for newsprint furnish.Aspen explosion pulp is superior in paper properties(breaking length,printability,critical pick velocity,print density,print through)to the conventional newsprint furnish.The quality of the newsprint containing aspen explosion pulp meet the A grade specification of the National newsprint standard.
