Compactor manufacturers have tested many possibilities in optimization of earth compaction to best combine the construction monitoring and the economical input. For example, Dynapac in Sweden has a fame in this kind of research. The newly developed Dynapac DCO is based on cycled vibration. With this design, almost all the compaction work can be completed at the largest efficiency under even load.
