Status of Traditional Chinese Medicine Service in 10 Suburb Town Community Health Service Centers and the Strategy

目的了解郊区(县)社区卫生服务中心中医药资源配置与中医药服务功能在社区中的开展情况。方法采取结构式问卷调查的方法,调查郊区(县)10所中心中医药资源配置与服务开展情况。结果常用的基本中医药设备配置比较齐全,中医药服务在社区“六位一体”功能开展中有一定运用。结论在保持和发展中医药特色的同时,应进一步扩大服务功能,特别是中医药适宜技术和在妇幼保健中开展中医保健、中医计划生育技术指导等工作。

Objective To know the allocation and utilization of the Traditional Chinese Medicine （TCM） resource in 10 suburb town community health service centers. Methods Structured questionnaires were applied to investigate the conditions of resource allocation and functional service of TCM. Results The common equipment for TCM was relatively complete. The resource and technique of TCM were mainly used in the medical treatment and rehabilitation. Conclusion The functional service of TCM, especially appropriate TCM techniques, TCM in woman and child care, and family planning, needs to be enlarged.
