黒色素浓集激素(melanin-concentratinghormone,MCH)是一种含有19个氨基酸的神经肽,主要存在于下丘脑。它有MCHR1和MCHR2两种G蛋白偶联受体,两种受体的分布及在大脑中的表达基本相似,但MCHR2不存在于啮齿动物中。MCHR1可与多种G蛋白偶联而MCHR2主要与Gq蛋白偶联。MCH与受体结合后将介导不同的信号通路。MCH是机体能量稳态系统中一种关键调节因子,与肥胖发生有关。
Melanin-concentrating hormone (MCH) is a 19-amino acid neuropeptide, which is mainly found in the hypothalamus. MCH has two G-protein coupled receptors (MCHR1 and MCHR2) , and the distribution and expression of MCHR1 and MCHR2 in the brain are essentially same, but MCHR2 does not express in rodents. MCHR1 can couple with several subtypes of G protein while MCHR2 mainly couples with Gq protein. MCH activates several different signal transduction pathways after binding with its receptors. MCH is the key regulator in energy balance system, and it is associated with obesity.
