The relationship between God and humankind was the focal issue that Kafka pondered over. There is a gulf between God and humankind. So Kafka insisted people should individuate their religious beliefs. It was the road of redemption to God. Kafka is a writer with strong religious consciousness. We can＇t understand his novels if we neglect the religious meaning he has expressed in his writings.
