Is "God" Along With "Good"?——On Iris Murdoch's Religious Moral Philosophy From The Unicorn

通过分析《独角兽》中主人公汉娜从一个普通人变成独角兽,再由独角兽变成一个普通的“真人”直至死亡的发展过程入手,来分析她究竟是一个“善”的使者,还是一个虚伪的假“上帝”,并借此来探讨默多克在其带有宗教色彩的伦理道德哲学及形而上学哲学的形成、发展、进化中,她的关于“上帝”与“善”的观点的排斥、相融与统一。

By analyzing The Unicorn＇s main character＇s procession of turning from an ordinary person to a unicorn and from a unicorn to a real person until she died, the present essay discusses whether Hannah is a messenger of the ＂Good＂ or just a hypocritical ＂God＂. Based on this, the essay also explores the repelling, mixing and unifying features of Murdoch＇ s viewpoints of the ＂Good＂ and the ＂God＂ on the forming and developing progression of her religious moral philosophy.
