韦伯是世界上提出“社会主义市场经济”模式的第一人,后人称之为“韦伯模式”。其主要观点是赞成市场经济,反对资本主义,主张把资本主义与市场经济分离开来,反对垄断、宏观调控、消除贫困、保障民主、对外开放等。“韦伯模式”的意义在于既为社会主义市场经济体制提供了理论依据,又为今天的中国深化改革、完善社会主义市场经济体制提供了启示。

Weber is the first person in the world who puts forward the mode of socialist market economy, which is called the Weber pattern afterwards. The pattern stands for market economy, opposes capitalism monopoly, advocates that the capitalism should be separated from the market economy, and favors macro-control, elimination of poverty, guarantee of democracy and opening to the outside world. The meaning of the Weber pattern lies in that it has not only provided a theoretical basis for the socialist market economy system, but also given enlightenment on the improvement of the system.
