Harmful Effect of SO_2 from a Chemical Plant on the Vegetables around the Plant

对某厂区及常年盛行风下风向地区植物受ＳＯ_２危害情况进行了调查，并测定了部分植物叶片中的硫含量。从植物叶片中的硫含量可间接地判断大气被ＳＯ_２污染的程度及植物对ＳＯ_２吸收与抵抗能力的强弱。

An investigation on the harm of SO_2 from a chemical plant to the vegetables in the leeward of the plant has been made. The content of sulphur in leaves of some kinds of vegetables has been measured. According to the content, the pollution level of SO_2 in the air and the resistance of vegetables to SO_2 can be indirectly determined.
