摘要
通用设计初旨在于为尽可能多的人提供没有障碍的环境，也希望尽可能更广泛地包容人类的各种活动。通用设计在住宅中的运用促使住宅适应人生的变化。这给住宅设计带来了新的启示。
The original purpose of universal design is to provide barrier-free environment for people as more as possible, and to contain more extensively people＇s activities. It promotes housing design to suit changes of owners＇ whole life span, thus brings new inspiration for housing design.
