摘要
这几年世界经济的亮点之一，就是中国经济的强势稳步增长，而中国城镇经济的发展，是其有力支撑，尤其小城镇经济的迅速掘起，摧生着中国的城市化进程，同时国家产业结构的高速和全球化也为中国小城镇发展带来了机遇。中国小城镇的发展进程，涉及的量广面大，面临的问题也是前所未有的，中国小城镇如何依据自身特征来进行规划建设？如何在现代化的同时体现城镇特色？如何在发展由保护好历史文化传统等等？这些问题均有待深入探讨，本刊“小城镇规划与建筑”就是出于这一目的。
