坚持以人为本,是时代发展的必然和思想政治工作的内在要求。要坚持以人为本,加强和改进学校思想政治工作,就必须尊重教师,发挥学生的主体作用,提高教师和学生的素质,建立思想政治教育长效机制。

Insisting on people foremost is inevitable for development of the times, and necessary for the political work. If it must be done, what we must do is to respect teachers, and give full play to the students, to improve teachers and students＇ quality, to establish a long term system of moral and political education.
