从1946年起，法国罗思柴尔德家族固守的一项传统，每年都会请一位当代画家创作一幅绘画用作酒签，但他们从不付钱给绘酒签的艺术家们．而是每次奉送若干箱可能是世界上最好的或者最昂贵的美酒，做为报酬。半个多世纪以来，这些为名酒而作的艺术品已经汇成了现代及当代画作的博物馆。

Since 1946, the Mounton Rothschild had sticked to a rule that every year they will invite a painter to create a painting used for bottle lables. Those painters will never be paid but will be offered several boxes of the best or most expensive wine. After nearly half a century, those paintings had been collected as a museum of contemporary painting art.
