新的拉班现代舞中心的建成拉开了戴普弗德港复兴计划的序幕。在这个新作品中赫尔佐格与德·梅龙再次向我们展示了建筑“表皮”的魅力,充满雕塑感的建筑体形与变幻的色彩恰如其分地表达了建筑所应具有的区域特征与内在意义。在建筑的室内处理上建筑师采用了富于表现力的处理手法,在使用功能与空间效果间建立起合乎逻辑的联系,时间因素的巧妙运用、丰富的空间层次使现代舞中心涌动着区域复兴急需的生命活力,同时也成为体验舞蹈的鲜活空间。

The completion of the new Laban centre for contemparary dance is a symbol of the beginning of regeneration plan in Deptford.in this new project,Herzog ＆ De Meuron show us again the charming of the architectural skin,With the sculptural shape and shimmering colour,the Laban centre expresses the tegional characters and inner meanings,which a new building should have,properly.The inner desing of the Laban centre is also very expressive and creative.Hezog ＆ De meuron has tried to help the building establishing a logical relation between functions and space experiences.With the subtly introduction of time and changefully space feeling,the Laban centre has introduced the vigor to the area that the coming regeneration most needs,The Laban centre become a lively place for experience dance.
