布尔诺双年展成立于1963年现在每个偶数年举办发是当代世界平面设计的重要展览其中展出的大部分作品都展示了过去四年里视觉传达领域的优秀作品。双年展的主要组织者是捷克共和国文化部和摩拉维亚艺术馆。其它参与布尔诺双年展组织活动的有捷克设计中心，布尔诺艺术馆、布尔诺双年展协会和捷克视觉艺术家联合会。
The Brno Biennale, established in 1963 and now held every even year, is a unique show of contemporary world graphic design and work, much of which has provided fresh creative input and stimuli in the sphere of visual eommunication in the course of the past four years. The chief organizers of the Biennale are the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic and the Moravian Gallery： Also involved in the organization of the Brno Biennaie are the Design Center of the Czech Republic, the Bmo House of Arts, the Brno Biennale Association and the Union of Visual Artists of the Czech Republic. The event is supported by the Southern Moravia Region, the Statutory City of Brno, and endorsed by ICOGRADA
