Teaching of Traditional Decoration Design Course

“传统装饰设计”是广东轻院艺术设计学院旅游纪念品专业的一门专业基础课程。 该课程旨在通过对传统装饰艺术中的剪纸、皮影、民间印染、戏曲脸谱、面具、民间玩具、年画、风筝等内容的介绍、分析和作业练习使同学们对中国传统装饰艺术，特别是民间艺术的民族内涵，造型特点、表现手法、装饰语汇以及构图布局、色彩运用等方面的知识有一定的了解并能运用现代常用的构成规律和方法（如重复、近似、对比、变异、发射、渐变、图底反转、共生形态新的排列和组合、打散构成等）运用计算机对图像的处理功能对传统装饰图形进行二次创造，赋予其新的创意和新的形式语言以创造出符合现代设计需要的装饰图形。

Traditional Decoration Design is a special coupe of Travel Souvenir Department, Art ＆ Design School of Guangdong Polytechnic College The course aims at helping the students have a certain understanding about Chinese traditional decoration art through the study of traditional paper-cut, shadow shows, folk printing and dyeing, Chinese opera masks, folk toys, Chinese New Year pictures, kites, ete It also helps the students to recreate the traditional decoration graphics by means of computer. （by Lin Weiyi）
