摘要
斯蒂文·霍尔是美国当代最著名的建筑师之一,他的现象学思想与类型学方法在国际建筑舞台上独有魅力。他认为建筑是被束缚在特定场所中的,一座建筑物(不可动的)不像音乐、绘画、雕塑、电影以及文学那样,它总是与某一地区的经历纠缠在一起。他的作品同时具有对传统的回应与对现代的感知。通过对霍尔的设计思想与代表作品的分析评价,揭示了霍尔的建筑观与实践经验对我们的借鉴意义。
Steven Hell is one of the most famous modem architects in America. His phenomenological idea and typological method are distinctive in the world. He declares that architecture is bound to situation Unlike music, painting, sculpture, film and literature a construction ( nan-mobile ) is always intertwined with the experience of a place. His works is the response to the tradition as well as the apperception to the modernity. This paper analyzes his design ideas and main works, and highlights the implication of his design view and practices to us.
