Climate is the Place Rebirth of Technological Acclimatization in Chongqing's Architecture

文章从传统技术是顺应自然的低技术策略出发对传统建筑与技术进行再认识, 认为设计过程中气候的因素不容忽视,合理的选择、更新、发展适应气候的传统建筑在建筑技术体系中具有走向现在和未来的价值。通过对重庆地区传统建筑适应气候的技术途径和寻求适应气候的重庆地区建造实践的分析,得到地区传统建筑更新的启示。

This article offers a new perspective dealing with traditional architecture and technology in terms of its low-tech approach adopted by traditional technology in its deference to nature. It contends that climate factors in design cannot be ignored and rational choices along with updating and development of climatized traditional architecture embodies modern value and envisages the future in the architectural technology system. By analyzing climatized technological approaches and practices of traditional architectune in Chongqing area, we are equipped with a new insight intoregional traditional architectural regeneration.
