文章从时尚的旧厂房改造现象,引发对其成因的文化和社会思考,探索其积极的当代城市意义。文章还通过URBANUS都市实践的几宗旧厂房改造案例,进一步阐述如何利用当前社会上对低历史价值的旧建筑的普遍兴趣。
The cultural and social roots of the current trend rehabilitation of old factory buildings are surveyed in erder to find out their positive meanings to cities today.Three cases of factory rehabilitation projects by Urbanus are introduced to demonstrate how to make histioric industrial buildings an effective device to energize contemporary urban public life.
