FROM CRITICAL REGIONALISM TO MECHANIZED REGIONALISM: DISCUSSION ON CHARACTERS OF LATIN AMERICAN MODERN ARCHITECTURE

本文从拉丁美洲的地域建筑理论入手,阐述其现代建筑个性创造中的批判地域主义和适度现代性观点;并通过混凝土巴洛克、民族色彩构成和机械化意象论述了拉美建筑个性的3方面基本特征;最后,提出发展中国家建筑自觉现代化的观点。

This paper sets forth the theories of Latin American architecture by discussing two concepts of creation of modern architectural identity-Critical Regionalism and Appropriate Modernity From three aspects of baroque concrete, ethical color composes and mechanization image, it analyzes Latin American architectural characters. In the end, It puts forward the concept of Reflexive Modernization about architecture of developing country.
