丰泰尼亚斯联盟旧厂区的改造设计采用了一种全球普遍的城市问题解决方案，沿主要街道（切塔大街）营建了丰富多样的室外空间。这些空间在概念上与单独的步行区域结合，形成了一系列的街区内部空间，既避免了外部干扰，同时又向周围保持开敞。
The conversion of the former Uniao Fontainhas Factory （ALCANTARA RIO, SA） is part of a global urban solution which estabilshes diversifled outdoor spaces along the main avenue （Av de Ceuta） These spaces are conceptuolly united with the definition of an exclusively pedetrian area, which forms a series of Inner block situations, protected from the external aggressiveness and simultaneously open to the surroundings
