摘要
公共开敞空间,作为一种城市改造并使在城市中生活、工作的人们享受更多乐趣的手段,变得非常重要。本文描述并分析了位于英国曼彻斯特城市中心的皮克迪利花园的设计概念。并结合实地走访的体会,将主要采用的策略归纳总结,并阐述这些设计手段是如何与城市周围环境结合,以及该绿地建成后的使用情况。
Public open space,as a means of achieving city regeneration and encouraging people to live,work and enjoy the urban life,is very important.This article describes and analyses the design concepts of Piccadilly Garden which is located in city centre,Through the site visit,this case study sums up a range of strategies used in this project and shows how these strategies were cooperated with surrounding environment and how people use it after construction.
