摘要
Language and culture are connected with each other tightly. Language teaching can not work without culture teaching. For the Junior Middle School English teaching, more attention should be paid to culture teaching. Only in this way can teachers help students understand and use English language better. It is also good for their understanding of Chinese culture, and it will raise the students＇ international conscious. Thus they can do better in trans-cultural communication, and their other abilities can be improved in English learning as well.
语言和文化是密不可分的。语言教学不可脱离文化教学，文化教学在语言教学中得到反映，二者是相辅相成的。基础教学阶段的高中英语教学就应将文化教学贯穿其中，这将有利于学生对英语的理解和运用，加深学生对本国文化的理解和认识，也有利于培各学生的世界意识，提高学生的跨文化交际能力，从而达到全面提高学生素质的目的。
