摘要 With the development of social economy, the changing of people's language is becoming taster and faster. That's because the changing of the society requires a higher level on language. Meanwhile, the development of social culture has also pushed the renewing of the language. Undoubtedly, campus is an outstanding place of gathering all the top-new words and popular phrases. If one takes a glance at what college students are talking about, it is not difficult to find that their language is put at the advanced place of the society. Therefore, the campus language could reflect the improvement of the language to the utmost. To learn English, one can't ignore the learning of spoken language. This paper aims at finding out the relationship between the popular language of modern American college students on the campus and the culture beneath it through analyzing the lexical features, the syntactical features, the linguistic features. It is benefit for everyone to get a better understanding of spoken English.
